The Space Generation Advisory Council is looking for an active young space leader from the European region to become the next Regional Coordinator (RC) for this Region. This two year role is a volunteer position that offers a chance to lead and be responsible for the voice of the next generation of young space leaders in Europe, especially as activities and excitement in the region has expanded over the past years in the space sector.

In preparation for the Space Generation Congress (SGC) in Adelaide, Australia on 21st - 23rd September 2017, SGAC is seeking for qualified volunteers interested in moderating the SGC Working Groups. One moderator is needed for each of the SGC Working Groups. Performing this role will allow you to further develop your communication skills and leadership capabilities. You will also enjoy an international experience and make connections with students and young professionals from around the world.

SGAC plans to host its 4th Asia-Pacific Space Generation Workshop (AP-SGW 2017) this November in Bangalore, India. SGAC’s first regional event inaugurated in 2014, AP-SGW now follows a 10-year ‘Roadmap’ is underway after 3 successful AP-SGWs. We are looking for a qualified young space leader to join as the Event Manager for this event.

As the SGAC Treasurer takes up a new role within the organisation, SGAC is looking for a new treasurer. This position is a key leadership role within the SGAC, providing assistance, direction, and management of the SGAC treasury team. Applicants will also be considered for roles within the SGAC finance team, as advertised here.

The Treasurer reports to the SGAC Chairs and the Executive Committee to provide strategic direction for the organisation, and will be in charge of primary oversight and management of SGAC finances, as well as provide insight into the the analysis, structure, and execution of financing initiatives.

With the increasing number of international partnerships and agreements SGAC is forming with industry, academia, government, and non-governmental organisations, it has become necessary to have additional expertise within the Executive Office to review legal documents that would impact the organisation for years to come. SGAC is seeking volunteer members with expertise in legal contracts and memoranda to join our legal team.
