SGAC’s Executive Director Becomes a Featured Blogger on SpaceNews.com

SGAC’s Executive Director has been invited to be one of the rotating featured bloggers on SpaceNews.com. Her first contribution is already online and addresses the value of stressing space applications in the civil space sector today. Ariane’s blog also suggests that more emphasis should be given to reaching the public to explain to them what the daily benefits of space are in ways that they understand and appreciate. She describes this as a crucial first step to address the developing needs of the new space sector customers in complementary sectors as well as international organisations and governments.

Ariane is honored to be able to provide her perspective for Space News. "It is a pleasure to be able to contribute to such a reputable publication. In particular, I am impressed with Space News and their motivation to include a young and international perspective. I think they are taking the lead in this respect and hopefully are reflecting the direction in which the space sector will be heading, as well.“
