SGAC is proud to announce the appointment of Jillian Taylor (USA) as the new manager for SGx 2017 as part of our global team of volunteers.
Jillian is an experienced analyst and subject matter expert consultant for the public, private, and federal aerospace sectors at The Tauri Group—a boutique space and technology consulting firm located in the Washington metropolitan area. Her expertise in aerospace is informed by her work identifying new markets for commercial space ventures, analyzing trends in disruptive aerospace companies, and supporting NASA's Strategic Investments Division in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer as an on-site consultant at NASA Headquarters.
In her work as an on-site consultant for NASA Headquarters, Jillian is currently the coordinator for NASA’s end-of-year performance report, the 2018 Volume of Integrated Performance; she also participates in NASA’s strategic planning and evaluation processes and, most recently, has supported NASA’s Presidential transition activities. In the past, she has participated in the development of NASA’s 2014 Strategic Plan and the FY 2015 and FY 2016 Congressional Budget Justifications.
Jillian received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, with a focus on Global Security from the University of Rochester and has additional expertise in global security; geopolitical conflicts; and weapons of mass destruction, including chemical and biological weapons.
